Where: The market is at the Lions Field

When: Each Saturday, from approximately 10:00am – 2:00pm

It’s 11 feet tall! – The indoor KUNAMOKST MURAL

Be sure to stop by the Galiano Oceanfront Inn & Spa to see the impressive Kunamokst Mural. Unveiled for the 2010 Winter Olympics, it was created by 190 artists, each working independently, 30 of whom are from Galiano.

You can rent a moped from Galiano mopeds, or a Smart Car from the Galiano Oceanfront Inn.

Gulf Island Kayaking Gulf Island Kayaking offers bike, kayak, canoe, and paddleboard rentals from Montague Marina, and is offering all Tour des Iles participants 10% off all rentals and tours* (*for tours with 3 or more participants), and 20% off both rentals when renting bikes and kayaks/canoes/paddleboards during the festival (June 21, 22, 23).

The Montague Marina has amenities for tourists, as well as ice cream and a coffee bar.

There are many fine eating establishments on Galiano, making us the “Foodie Island”.  The Crane and Robin is right at the Montague Dock, and has a wonderful view overlooking the ocean. 

There are many shops and galleries right within walking distance at Sturdies Bay, including Art and Soul and the Yellow House Art Center to name a few. 

Go on a beautiful hike to Bluffs Park or Bellhouse Park with sweeping views on Active pass, all within walking distance to Sturdies Bay. Montague Park also has a short little hike that winds around some absolutely incredible white shell beaches.
